PlayoffBlitz LLC ("PlayoffBlitz," "we," "us," or "our") operates the PlayoffBlitz fantasy football service, including the website at playoffblitz.com and the PlayoffBlitz mobile apps for iOS and Android (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

• Account information: first name, last name, email address, and (if provided) phone number
• Team and league information: team name, league name, lineup selections, trade/roster activity
• Messages you send: chat messages and commissioner messages sent within your league
• Subscription information: if you purchase PlayoffBlitz Premium, the subscription status itself (but not your payment card, see §3)

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Authentication tokens issued by Amazon Cognito (our authentication provider)
• Push notification tokens from your device (Apple Push, Firebase Cloud Messaging / Expo Push), collected only if you grant notification permission
• Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and interaction events needed to operate the Service
• Log data: IP address, timestamps, and pages/endpoints accessed, for security and diagnostics

1.3 Information from third parties (when you use social sign-in)

If you sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook, we receive from that provider:

• A unique identifier for you in that provider's system
• Your email address (if you permit)
• Your name (if you permit)

We do not receive your social media password or access your social media posts, friends, or content.

1.4 Cookies and analytics (website only)

Our website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and first-party cookies to understand site usage: for example, which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and which features are popular. The mobile apps do not use advertising cookies.

You can opt out of GA tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), or by configuring "Do Not Track" in your browser (we honor DNT signals on the website).

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your PlayoffBlitz account
• Provide fantasy football scoring, lineups, leagues, standings, and chat
• Send you service-related emails (e.g., confirmation codes, password resets)
• Send you push notifications you've opted into (e.g., chat messages, commissioner messages, live scoring). You can turn these off in your device settings at any time
• Process subscription purchases via Apple App Store or Google Play
• Protect the Service from fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information to serve third-party advertising inside the Service.

3. How we share your information (third-party service providers)

We use the following service providers to operate PlayoffBlitz. Each receives only the information they need to perform their role:

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PlayoffBlitz, our users, or others.

4. Your rights and choices

4.1 All users

• Access: You can see your account information in the app at any time
• Update: You can update your profile, team name, and preferences in the app
• Push notifications: Turn on or off in your device settings or in the app's Notification Preferences screen
• Delete your account: In the mobile app, go to Settings → Account Security → Delete Account. This immediately deletes your authentication record and removes your personal information (name, email, phone) from our system. Your historical league participation remains visible to other league members as "Deleted User" so their standings stay intact. After deletion, your email address is free to be used to create a new account. If you signed in with Apple, we also recommend removing PlayoffBlitz from Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple on your device. Web-only users can email support@playoffblitz.com to request deletion.

4.2 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising)
• Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

To exercise these rights, email support@playoffblitz.com. We will verify your identity before acting on the request.

4.3 EU / EEA / UK residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Our legal bases for processing your personal information include: (a) performance of our contract with you, (b) your consent (e.g., for push notifications), (c) our legitimate interests in operating the Service, and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

5. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to:

• Support historical league records and stats you and other members rely on
• Comply with legal, tax, and audit obligations
• Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

We process deletion requests promptly. Mobile app deletions complete immediately; email requests are processed within 30 days. Anonymized or aggregated data (e.g., league-wide statistics with no user identifiers, historical scores displayed as "Deleted User") may be retained so other members' standings and league history remain intact.

6. Security

We protect your information with:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Passwords hashed and managed by Amazon Cognito, so PlayoffBlitz never sees your plaintext password
• Access controls limiting who on our team can access production systems
• Regular software updates and security monitoring

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to protect your information.

7. Children's privacy (COPPA)

PlayoffBlitz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, email support@playoffblitz.com and we will delete the information.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
• Post the revised policy at playoffblitz.com/Privacy-Policy
• For material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice

Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
