League pricing.
One season, one fee.

A PlayoffBlitz fantasy football league costs the commissioner a single up-front payment, and everyone else joins free.

That one fee covers the league no matter how big it gets. Unlimited members means you can invite eight friends or eighty coworkers for the same price, and nobody has to sit through a draft or manage a roster all season to take part.

Why it's worth it

Traditional fantasy football is free, and the major platforms do it well. It is also a different game. A standard league caps how many people can play, everyone has to show up for a draft, and then you spend four months working the waiver wire and juggling add-drops so your roster stays legal.

PlayoffBlitz is a one-and-done league, for people who want the competition without the admin. There is no draft, so there is no night to schedule around and nobody misses out for being busy in August. There is no waiver wire and no add-drops, because nobody owns any players: every player in the pool is available to everybody, every week, unless of course you've already used that player. And there is no cap on members, so an office pool of sixty people runs on exactly the same fee as a group of six.

It's simple: just log in, look at who is available, pick the eight players you think will score the most, and you're done. That's it. The league fee is paid once by the commissioner for everybody.

Regular season vs playoff season

The two leagues are the same game with a different player pool and a different length. Everything in the table below is included at the price shown. There are no add-on tiers and no per-member charges.

How billing works

The league fee is a one-time charge. It happens once, when the league is created, and it never bills again the next season. If you want to play again next year, you create a new league and pay for that one.

The only feature not covered by the league fee is the optional member upgrade to Pro+. Individual members can upgrade to Pro+, giving them extra access to data, rankings, and entry into the Pro Bowl to see how they compare against everyone else playing on PlayoffBlitz. Individuals who are not part of a league can also join the Pro Bowl on their own and get the same features as a Pro+ member. No matter how you find your way to Pro+, you get the same extra benefits:

  • Full player data
  • Projections, with your available player pool sorted by projected points
  • Access to the Data Center, with sortable, filterable and searchable player statistics
  • Access to compete against the very best across the entire site in the Pro Bowl Public League

All prices are in US dollars.

Playing solo

No league?
Play the Pro Bowl.

Join the public Pro Bowl league as an individual and compete against every other member on the site. No need to round up friends, no league to manage.

Your entry gets you access to the public Pro Bowl League and all the benefits of the Pro+ membership. We don't award cash, prizes, trophies, or anything else for winning the Pro Bowl. What's at stake is where you finish and a year's worth of bragging rights.

Any member can upgrade themselves at any time. It doesn't change anything for the rest of the league.

Pricing questions.

How much does a fantasy football league cost on PlayoffBlitz?

A regular season league is $99 and a playoff league is $79, and we run discounts from time to time. That's the whole cost of the league. It's paid once by the commissioner who creates it, and every member joins free.

Why pay for this when other fantasy football is free?

You are paying for the absence of admin, and for a league nobody else has to pay to join. Standard fantasy football is free and very good, but it caps how many people can play and asks all of them for a draft night and a season of roster management. Here one person pays once, the member count is unlimited, and there is no draft, no waiver wire and no add-drops for anybody.

Does the league fee renew each season?

No. The league fee is a one-time charge for that season's league. It doesn't renew, nothing bills again automatically, and there's nothing to cancel. Playing again next year means creating a new league. Pro+ is separate: an optional individual subscription, and the only thing on PlayoffBlitz that does renew.

Do league members have to pay?

No. Only the commissioner pays, and only once. Members join free and there's no per-member charge, no matter how many people you invite.

Can I play without starting a league?

Yes. The public Pro Bowl league is $15 per person and you join as an individual, competing against every other member on the site. It includes all Pro+ features.

Are there cash prizes or payouts?

No. We don't award prizes, trophies or payouts of any kind, and there's no prize pool. What's at stake is where you finish in your league.
